Pear Tree Inn Cape Girardeau West

We enjoyed our stay at the Cape Girardeau Pear Tree Inn. The beds were very, very comfy! The bathroom was huge! My only negatives were that the shower was squeaky and the garbage cans were not lined. All of the staff were extremely friendly. We thought the breakfast was very nice, the biscuits were the best we've had in a hotel! Glenda took great care of the dining area and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely stay again when we're in the area.

Do yourself a favor and move to the next hotel on the list. The shower/tub was disgusting, hair everywhere along with yellow substance. Room smelled like sewage. Guests smoking weed inside. My son has terrible allergies and this was most disappointing for that. I could tell the sheets were still wrinkled from the previous guests. Needless to say, we checked out and moved hotels, money lost isn’t everything to me

From the style, I think this was once a Drury Inn.|Room 416. Nice. Basic. Pool under repair. Seems par for the course. |Clean. Safe. Near the highway and several restaurants.|and also only 10 minute from downtown.||Parking: Free lot|Service:|Value: good||Would recommend: Yes|Would re-patronize: Maybe

cody helped me get in last night around midnight and he was amazing so sweet! but the lady that was working this morning monday oct 13th around 10:30 was not good. you need to work on your customer service. i asked for a room on the first floor, she questioned why i needed a room on the first floor, which is none of your business, your job is to get me a room. then she proceeded to tell me she’ll have to look because they’re “all booked up” cody asked me last night which floor id prefer do be on and at the time it didn’t matter but this morning we needed to move to the first floor. so she could’ve gotten us a room on the first floor. very rude. your job is easy learn how to do it better. 10/10 for the sweetheart cody but 0/10 for the lady working this morning 🤣

Positive: I love the location. Negative: my room is that it smelled like old cigarettes and moly carpet. I disinfect room and spray. The smell went away while we were there. It was only for a night. I think that if they got new carpet and strip the walls and repaint it, the smell will go away
