Hampton Inn Cape Girardeau I-55 East

My husband and I were traveling during college football playoffs and wanted to make sure we stayed at a motel with ESPN. I called the Hampton in Cape Girardeau and spoke with a delightful young woman named Tonja. She checked to make sure that the motel did indeed have ESPN and that there were no problems with streaming. I thanked her for her troubles, and she told me that all of the employees there are dedicated to making sure their guests have a pleasant stay. Our stay was great. The bed was comfy and not rock hard as many motel beds are. Everything was clean and quiet. Staff were great. For motel breakfast, the breakfast was good. Give Tonja a raise, she is a great asset.

Check-n was easy, and the woman checking us in was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom had decent lighting and counterspace. The bed was comfortable, and we slept pretty well. Only negative is that we could have used a couple more washcloths, but we dealt with it. Breakfast was the basic offerings, but everything was good. To anyone traveling through this area, this Hampton is a good choice.

Positive: Location Negative: Too expensive.....breakfast was average at best. $--- for 1 night is about $--- too high for what you get here.

All the employees at this Hampton Inn were great. A special recognition to Leighann the 11pm-7 am shift. Leighann gave exceptional service. I called to reschedule our stay date. Leighann was very busy checking in late arriving guests. She professionally & sweetly called me back to help me reschedule our arrival.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Hampton Inn, especially Leighann. 🤩😊

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I had a stained pillow case and they offered to remake the whole bed, but we declined the offer and just replacd the pillowcase. The whole room was clean and comfortable. And my husband was happy to find they offered biscuit and gravy for breakfast! The hotel definitely deserved the awards they have earned. Oh and they had evening cookies for guests! 🍪
