Update edit: Island Communities was given 4 months to rectify a problem THEY caused and now that I'm sharing with the world what they did to my mother, suddenly they want to to make things right. I urge people to check them out with the BBB and/or Trust Pilot. Original Post:I want to Know what you're getting in to. I'm writing this review to save anyone I can from experiencing what I have been through with Island Communities. But to fully appreciate the enormity of the problem, you first have to understand the Island Communities business model. Island Communities is akin to a corporate raider. They search out run down mobile home parks and buy them without honoring current lease agreements. They raise the rent, sometimes doubling, and also tack on fees that are normally covered by the rent

Peace River Estates RV Camp is absolutely wonderful! The grounds are peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained, creating the perfect getaway. The atmosphere is so relaxing, with plenty of space and a friendly community vibe. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into keeping the park welcoming and enjoyable for everyone. Whether you’re staying short-term or long-term, this RV camp is a true gem. Highly recommend!

We had such a great experience at Peace River Estates RV Park! The sites are spacious, the grounds are clean, and the staff is super welcoming. The location is perfect—right by the river with plenty of room to relax, fish, and enjoy the outdoors. The amenities are well maintained, and the community has a friendly, laid-back vibe that makes you feel right at home. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The community has taken some hard hits the past few years. Management has changed and so has lot rent. The community was making improvments and unfortunately had just repaved the entire community before Helene and Milton. Currently-the "riffraff" and the florida united trailers that was previously mentioned are gone. The few of us that are left are great people. Any mess observed here is only due to people making repairs(myself included) Fishing is still great, community boat launch(fishing peer and rec hall are closed due to damage). The view has never been better, many of the waterfront lots are cleared and open views. As expected many of the older homes have been removed, one word that cant be applied to this community anymore is crowded. If you are independent and want to simply
