SpringHill Suites by Marriott Punta Gorda Harborside

Stayed here during a recent weekend soccer tournament. I'd give this place 5 stars if it wasn't for their lack of parking. I had to park across the street both nights, not really feeling too safe. Breakfast was good and enough room in the living room area to sit and do some work. Room was good but the bathrooms in the middle of the room so it's a little distracting when multiple people need to use the restroom. Great hotel for families. We used the pool and it was heated. Kids enjoyed it, but it's surrounded by concrete jungle so not too eye appealing. Gym was sufficient and roomy as well. Only one wash machine if you're trying to do laundry, better get in at the right time! Overall I would stay here again, property is fairly new.

Great hotel! Extremely clean, seems very new, and had the best free breakfast for this class of hotel that we’ve ever seen. Room is a very nice size. Polite staff. Has a small food menu and bar inside but we enjoyed exploring the many Punta Gorda restaurants within a block or 2.

Staff was top-notch, making the stay so enjoyable- I didn’t want to ever leave! So nice to be greeted so nicely on return and the bottled water at reception was a great touch. Although the room wasn’t cleaned during our 6 night stay, towels and toiletries were easily available for refreshing. Very easy process. Pool area was great… small, but pleasant. The pool towels were constantly refreshed, which was great. Free bikes available through PG bike share right at the hotel. We didn’t need them, but so convenient- the area bike trails are fantastic! Enjoy!!!

EVERY one of the people running this clean, wonderful hotel were courteous, helpful, and happy! We stayed for 26 days, and it truly was the greatest hotel we've ever stayed in! The delicious breakfast in the morning was definitely served with a smile--Desiree was so nice and attentive to everyone at breakfast and beyond. Liz at the front desk was great too. There wasn't a single person there that wasn't polite and helpful. This is a first- class hotel with first- class people running it. Thank you all for making our trip wonderful and fun--and so very memorable!! We miss the people and hotel so much!

Excellence all around!!! Staff members were all smart, kind, fun and genuine. This meant ro much to us as ai visited with my 2 boys as a much needed reset after a year of heartbreaking medical news. What you all do matters so much to all who pass through your doors. THANK YOU!!! PS y 6 and 8 year old want me to say that breakfast is GREAT and there are so many things to walk to!
