Our group had a great time at the show. One of us actually got to participate in the show as an axe thrower and two grandsons both got a "cookie" for cheering for the winning team. Preshow buffet was very good and everyone at the show was very friendly and accommodating to anything we needed. Was a bit chilly the day we visited but the heaters made it easy to sit outdoors and enjoy the show. Highly recommend.

My husband and I had dinner one night here while staying in Gatlinburg for our anniversary. The line for the food was very long. I wish they would have had both buffet stations open and it would have helped. The pork and the green beans were very good. The seating area was just crowded picnic tables and then you went to sit on metal bench style seats to watch the show. It wasn't too terribly crowded with people at the 8pm show. They had a bar you could get drinks at during the show. The show started off a little slow and got better as it went. It was decently long and the lumberjacks were entertaining to watch. We are from the Ozarks so it's hard to beat a Branson show but it came close. It was okay. It would have been a little better if the buffet wasn't so small and crowded and the eatin

I don’t know why people were saying that the food was so bad! We went expecting the worst, and the meal was really yummy! Obviously it’s not gourmet, but the turkey was very moist and the sweet potatoes were bomb. Yes, the rolls were probably Sister Schubert, but those rolls are the best for a reason. Everyone was so friendly and the staff was great. We actually really enjoyed eating in a separate room - pro tip, get there early (3:15) and grab a seat in the heated dining room upstairs. The show was so entertaining and we had a blast. Sit at the top of the stadium to feel the heat a bit more. Don’t go expecting gourmet, five star food and you’ll enjoy yourself. We’re both 25 years old and we had a lot of fun. For what it was, we thought it was a really good value and we’d absolutely do it

Overall a good experience! I was weary after attending Dixie Stampede and not being super impressed. still, we decided to go to this lumberjack show. We eat dinner before and it was not the best thing ever but rolls were really good. The reviews are a little over critical of the food but i think it’s fair to expect more from Payla Deen. Still, the main part was the lumberjack show. Watching the lumberjacks do different tricks and compete was really fun!! A good time! Competing and cheering on our “family” was really fun. Glad I got a cookie haha! Overall, I would recommend going to a show if you have kids. The lumberjacks are interesting and seem to be having fun and enjoy performing. They also do wood carvings and sell which are very cute! Theyre nice to talk to after. entertaining show

The show was worth it! The show was a lot of fun. It was interactive and it’s pretty amazing to watch some of the stuff they can do. Make sure you make a lot of noise cheering them on. My husband got to be a part of the ax throwing for team McGraw! A little feedback for the food, the website should be updated. It states, baked beans and coleslaw but it was sauerkraut and green beans. Mac n cheese tasted too much like flour. Biscuits, pork and potato salad were good.
