Patuxent Inn

This place looks nice in pictures but once you enter it is not very pleasing. Even though they have non- smoking rooms, my relatives stated they could still smell smoke in their rooms. The lien was dirty and they were afraid to sit on the sofa because it was badly stained. They were so taken back by this place that we purchase air mattress so they can stay at a clean, well-kept home. ||||I just wanted to alert consumers that this place is NASTY! -

I was kicked out and threatened to have the police called on me because I was asking about broken equipment in my room! I’m never staying here again, since trying to get the bare minimum in comfort is too much of an inconvenience. Asked simple questions with simple yes or no answer but lady just wanted to argue and when her own words wasn’t adding up she threatened to kick me out or call the police. I said several times to please stop talking to me and that I’d like to speak to a manager, can sound rude but it’s not but of course people would rather argue. Imma be real with you too as a black man being told your kicking me out for asking questions, told your not gonna refund me my remaining days and current day and call the cops on me by a white woman behind a glass just speaks volumes, I

Do not be fooled by it's Tudor style paint job, this is a trap spot hotel just like every other motel 6, econo lodge and knights inn along the highway. The rooms stink like cigarettes so bad that it was hard to sleep and gave me a cough all night, and I am someone who occasionally smokes cigarettes, thats how offensive and over powering the decades old smoke in the walls and furniture is. There is no elevator, the carpet is crunchy and stained, and the key card was finicky. It worked for what we needed it for, a bed to sleep in at the halfway mark of a long road trip home, but for anything more than that, keep looking or else you will be disappointed.

We are currently being told we have to leave because of our daughter’s service animal. We o formed them at time of check in, we have been here a couple of days and therefore have taken him outside many times to use the bathroom but at 6:30 pm are now being contacted and told we have to pay $250 and that we have to check out first thing tommorow. We mentioned the fact that there are multiple dogs on our floor and their response was “they are service animals” Just figured I’d post this for any other people who may have service animals and are thinking of booking. I didn’t even think it was legal butttt apparently it is. I would review the room itself but as I scanned previous reviews there are many accurate reviews of the rooms themselves.

The room smelled like an old fart. The tv doesn’t have any channels but family guy on Fox. I went down to get help for the hdmi cord to work and nobody helped. This old hotel should be shut down and replaced with a Popeyes. There isn’t an elevator but there is old steps. Hallways smell like cigarettes. If you’re looking for a hotel motel come to patuxent inn
