Best Western La Plata Inn

Most affordable hotel in the area. Been to this hotel multiple times and can say each time was a good experience. Overall it’s a cheap hotel, but I’ve luckily had the privilege of working with Mr. Joy ever. Mr. Joy is extremely professional, courteous and accommodating. He was able to problem solve a booking malfunction for me and helped me choose a room that fitted my requests. Rooms are clean. Pillows could use an update and some better lighting. But again super affordable and you get 5 star service while being here. Thank you Mr. Joy Christian

Booked a suite August 21-24, 2025 during a family reunion visit.. Suite was clean, spacious , bed comfortable, and all electronic connections convenient and in working order. Breakfast was standard but coffee was exceptionally GOOD, Also the hotel's location was excellent . However, would strongly suggest that for better security, the side doors to the property not be kept unlocked. Although a sign was displayed that key was needed for entrance, it did not work and doors were open each time we entered and exited. This will be our hotel of choice when visiting this area. N.C. Positive: The proximity to our venue. Negative: Bugs, bugs, dead and alive!!!! 1st room was very musty. Turned on the AC unit only to look up and a roach was crawling up the white curtains. 2nd room had a huge dead spider on carpet. In the morning a live roach was crawling up the tiles in the tub.

Had a wonderful 5 day stay while visiting family. Was pleasantly surprised by the comfort level of both the overall facility and my spacious room. I really enjoyed the morning breakfast area with an excellent selection of both hot and cold breakfast items. A much better selection than I have experienced from other hotel companies. Staff was friendly and helpful. Always parked close to the door and very convenient to my room. Thanks for a very enjoyable stay and see you next time!

This review mostly applies to Room 226... My visit was fine, for the most part. First night - the wall HVAC unit made a horrible racket. They did not have a repair person on duty. Manager fixed the next morning, but that first night was miserable. I had to turn the unit completely off to stop it from drowning out the TV. There was no spare room when I reported this issue. So I could not be relocated. Room and facility were mostly very clean. Staff was very polite and professional. Room 226 could use some touch-up. Bathroom door needs a complete repaint job - looks cheap with obvious signs of too much touch-up work. Tub has no slip-resistance so BE CAREFUL. There is no place to hang your clothes in the bathroom. The shower control needs to be lubricated. Not easy to get the full force
