Patriot Pointe cabin

I loved it there was a t.v. in every bedroom plenty of extra quilts for the pull out bed. We wore out that pool table out the only thing with that was some of the pockets had holes in them. It was wet most of the time we were there and there were leaves in the yard but it is so steep were the leaves were it didn't matter much. The hot tub was nice the light was very nice at night. I never got in the jacuzzi tub so i don't know about it. The bunk beds were very low and creaky. But the mattresses were comfortable. The cabin is close to everything but not to close to the main road. The big screen was cool make sure you have lots of popcorn. This cabin was an overall great experience for 11 people.

If only I could give 0 stars....This has a nice floor plan but is in horrible shape. The smell of combined mustiness and old dog urine hits you as soon as you walk in. We are currently in this cabin and unfortunately it is too late at night to go elsewhere. No one has been in here for a long time. Most of us are afraid to sleep in the beds or sit on the stuffed furniture. There is not one clean blanket here. Everything is either a heavy bedspread that has obviously not been washed in the recent past. Others are duvet covers that are strewn unceremoniously in messy piles throughout the closets - these smell musty. The jacuzzi tub has mold in the tile work and the jets look dirty. Dust and dirt everywhere. We will be outta here at sun up so we can find a fresh, clean place to sleep. This com

Good things...theater room, hot tub.....NOT SO GOOD THINGS.....cob webs on kitchen walls, leaky ceiling in hallway bathroom (actually dripped rainwater on to the floor), exhaust fan in bathroom didn't cover the stained hole cut out for it in ceiling, hairs and dust built up on lamps in living area, drawer next to stove is broken, window sills haven't been dusted in way too long. For $1,760 for 4 nights, I expected at least a VERY CLEAN cabin to stay in, but the overall experience combined with the hard and lumpy beds was a disappointment.

The pictures of this cabin are deceiving for they do not represent the prent condition of this house. Old worn out furniture that probably came from Goodwill. This place needs to be taken off the rental market -- it has seen better days. It needs repairs and the recent work that has been done was done by an amateur -- not a professional carpenter , electrician or plumber. It was not worth what we paid -- could have stayed at a nicer lodge or hotel for less cost. We will not use this company again. I choose it because I am a Vietnam Veteran and wanted to support Veteran owned companies.

We are currently staying at the cabin. The WiFi is not strong enough to stay connected to the phone, the cable does not work and the gas fireplaces don't work. This cabin is misrepresented in the pictures and for the price we paid, we could have found something more acceptable. And BTW, we have called for maintenance twice and no one has showed up to reconcile the problems. One notch above a dump.
