I read reviews and they didn’t match the negativity. When arriving the lady that met use was so friendly she answered questions we had we were not rushed and they do have a port a potty. Also $5 a person I’m not going to complain. They also provide air for your raft and if you need to purchase one they have them. No they do not provide ride so you need 2 cars but its worth it with the price unless you wanna pay an arm and leg then go to Mohican I’m good on that. With all that being said I most definitely will return so worth it.

Launched tubes at Pops place up river, stopped at Dawg Pound, and got out here.

I'm bewildered at the low reviews of this place -- it's perfect. It costs $5 per person to leave a car and then pull out after a float down the river out -- and that is absolutely worth it. We started just below Mohican State Park and didn't want to go all the way down to Greer Landing or the Bridge of Dreams. Dan and his wife Claudia, and their dog, Coco were all amazing. They sell tubes if you need one and they couldn't be nicer. I have read some of the bad reviews and they boggle my mind. So many people wanting to park on someone's private land... but refusing to pay to do so. That just doesn't make sense. I will be using this place on my future trips and telling others. It couldn't be easier. As soon as you float under the Wally Road Covered Bridge -- the pull out is immediately on y

We are camping in the area, driving by the sign says "PUBLIC launch, bring your own tube". Zero signs about costs. I dropped off our tubing group at the gate, they walked thru the parking lot to drop tubes in and a woman, old man and dog come tearing and screaming after them. Apparently the old lady was blowing a whistle at them about 200yards away that none of our group heard. They were accusing our group of trespassing, saying purposely ignored her whistle etc. All 5 people thought her whistle was a bird up in the trees. Instead of approaching calmly to say they needed to pay they were acting like complete lunatics, wouldn't listen to the fact that they had no signs saying they needed to pay. There are no signs posted about a $5 parking fee and apparently per other reviews, they charge

Horribly rude older man. My aunt and niece had already paid to park, we went down the river and when she went to get out was having some trouble. We went to help her out of the river, mind you, not even out of our kayaks yet and the old man said he was calling the sheriff and that we were trespassing. We tried to explain, she had already paid and we were not stopping there it was only the two of them but she was having some trouble. He didn’t want to hear it and was going to have the sheriff give us all BUIs. While we were sober. Terrible experience. Be careful if you go!
