The Hemlock Inn

Honestly one of the best places we've ever stayed at. We were in town for a wedding, and we have never been to the area. Our room was so clean and so homey for us. We brought our 2 little girls with us and all they kept talking about how comfy the beds were and how nice it was. From the minute we walked in it was very inviting, you can see how much hard work and love they all put into this property. Everyone was so nice, it was seriously so quiet at night we all were able to sleep so good. We will definitely be back in the future!!

Hello ok so let start this story from a lil earlier in the evening on Friday January 30th myself and my wife and some friends had planned a weekend getaway winter camping trip now we're all from outta town to start so to keep this story short some malfunctions n our arrangements happened n we lost our heat n sleeping arrangements so we preceded too this hotel probably bout after 1am at this point at a temperature of -14° and stood n there lobby talking to night attendant over the phone who at this point told us they don't accept check ins after midnight ... I then informed him it was -14` n we were from outta town n kind a stuck and his response was u can drive to wooster or Ashland to get a room somewhere which each r over another 30 to 40 mins away ... I've never in my life been treated

What an unexpected surprise. We were in area for an event that rooms were all booked. We just needed a bed for night. Someone else reserved and so never booked our goal was whatever available. We showed up and found this gem of a place. Owners doing a remarkable job tapping into elements of area. It’s fun and welcoming. The updated rooms are simply but has an ambience that just hits right. Will be back for sure. Tall people get excited you do not have to slouch in shower!

So I'll start by saying we did not have a renovated room. We had a older room with a new bed,tv and bathroom. With that said new owners are putting alot of effort making this a great place to stay . Owners are super friendly and very accommodating. We will definitely stay there again can't wait until all remolding is finished

We had a large group stay here for a wedding. It was perfect. The renovated room I had was nice. The others were comfortable but a little dated. We didn’t mind because of all the other good items and accommodations. We loved the evening fires! Great memories!
