Palms Resort

Great location! My husband & I rented one of the condos. This is a small property with surprisingly big amenities such as a nice size pool, hot tub & outside lounge area. Grounds were clean, and they have a dedicated parking deck across the street. The unit we rented had great water views.

We never made the trip, Had to cancel months before we were to go.|The management was extremely attentive during the rental agreement process.|We were hoping to reschedule with the Palms but the condo we wanted was not available. My communication with them was immediate.|ALL communication stopped after I received the confirmation stating that the condo was cancelled and money would be refunded in 7 to 10 days.|A month went by and no refund. My father was a resident at the Palms for several years before his passing. For over a decade my wife and I would celebrate our birthdays there with him. We have many happy memories there at th Palms. Our last couple of visits weren't what we became accustomed to. The whole facility has become extremely dated it lost it freshness. The last two rooms we had weren't clean to a level that a resort motel would be proud of. The kitchens were just wiped down. The coffee pot and refrigerator were dirty, the bathroom looked to be the same way. There was construction debris left behind from a recent wall patch job. No front desk attendant at night. Stating at the Palms Resort is always a pleasure. We use Myrtle Beach Destinations to book our stays. We particularly appreciate and enjoy the 3 bedroom #502 condo option in the building as its a beautifully appointed condo with newer furnishings along with multiple direct ocean front balconies. The Palms Building is walkable to everything with its perfect location on the beach. Multiple pools and hot tubs makes this Building a winner.

Extremely disappointed. This property is old, filthy, and clearly neglected. The furniture smelled of mildew and mold, and the sheets were stained… One even appeared to have blood on it. The beds were cheap and uncomfortable, the sinks clogged, and the bathtubs were in terrible shape. The refrigerator was dented and dirty. There was no security whatsoever, and staff presence was almost nonexistent. Only one overwhelmed employee was around, and after 4 PM the place felt completely abandoned. The photos used in their advertising are absolutely misleading, they appear to show a few nicer condos, not the reality most guests get. Nearly everyone I spoke with had similar complaints.
