Palmetto Shores RV Resort

Palmetto Shores is a very nice campground. They have everything right there that you could want. You have Lake Marion, pool, lazy river, etc. Campsites are awesome with full hook-ups. What's more to want? We spent this past weekend (March 6th, 2026) there and had a wonderful time with friends. When checking in the staff make everything seamless and fast. We will definitely be going back. It's a great campground to plan family get togethers and if someone in the family doesn't have a camper, rent a cabin.

Well maintained campground with some great amenities. We really enjoyed our visit and can't wait to return. We stayed in sites 82 and 83. These are new sites with concrete pads which was wonderful, however, there is a busy dirt road directly behind these sites which caused a lot of dust. It would be nice to have a privacy fence to block it.

The resort has a lot of things going for it. The amenities were varied and many. Nice bath houses, rental golf carts, and so on. I imagine the summer months are wide open and fun. I only wish that we had visited in the warmer months. The one big thing that disgusted us was the nasty water coming out of the spigots feeding the RVs. We were in site 48 and the water was a mid brown. I noticed that the site next to us on our door side was empty. I checked that spigot and it was even worse. The water was best described as orange mud. I95 was a steady roar every night but a noise machine can take care of that.

We had a great family gathering post-Christmas! We rented two 2-bedroom cabins that were side-by-side, and we had fabulous weather and amazing sunsets. We rented a pontoon boat from Carolina King one afternoon, and literally could pull it right up outside our cabins. It was a great trip. A few trips across the bridge to the grocery, but otherwise had everything we needed. Thank you for our fabulous trip!

Very nice campground next to 95. Clean, well organized, level site. Bathrooms clean. Site 89 level. Plenty of room to stay connected with 35' 5th wheel. Some 85 noise but ysed fan white noise. Easy, friendly checkin. I would recommend sites on side furthest from 95, nit near dog park.
