The ENTIRE STAFF at Palms By The Beach is an amazing group of people. I came to Myrtle Beach through very unfortunate circumstances. I'm a 54 year old woman alone with no family. The Palms By The Beach has been a real blessing. The location is exceptional, the rooms are modest and unbelievably clean. There are no requests I've made that have not been satisfied with courtesy and as expeditiously as possible. Great family setting. IF I COULD LEAVE 20 STARS... I WOULD. Despite all if the reviews I decided to book. I traveled with my family of 7. We brought our own cleaning supplies, bed sheets and extra wash cloths and towels. I've worked in housekeeping before so I already know how hotels are. I was pleased with the distance the hotel is from the beach, we could cross the street and literally be right there. So my teens were able to go over and have a good time without me being stressed about them driving at Myrtle Beach. I had a booking issue through booking.com and the man at the front desk corrected it with no problem. There was no housekeeping the whole time we were here but with Coronavirus going on I was glad I didn't have people coming in and out of my room especially with my personal belongings here. I had reservation for a deluxe suite with booking over an week advance. Once arrived I’m informed they don’t have my reservation nor a room. Finally they give in said they had one well take inconsideration it’s Labor Day weekend every where is completely booked so I’m stuck with this room had to pay more then what had a reservation for needless say the room didn’t even have a refrigerator, a shower curtain, only sheets on the beds, an last but not least one of the a/c units where missing. Asked for another room an failed asked for shower curtain failed asked for a refrigerator failed. Absolutely horrible. Not to mention I go out to my vehicle an right by my car was a used syringe I was terrified to even step out after dark.

I didn't get a room the service was very bad . I called booked for a refund . I was told that we couldn't check in until four got their at four didn't a room so I waited until about seven to reach out to them and still have a room so I had to find some else stay. I came their so it's wasn't a good trip cause had find somewhere to stay. Also my mother had their as well she had go the office and ask rags and towels . I would a call back. I would book a room their again

Worst hotel experience you can get. Not enough bedding in the room. Not enough towels/rags. Both tvs are fuzzy to the point of being unable to watch. The phone line is ripped out of the wall. No trash bags. No room service. And to top it off he is telling people to park in a lot that will have you towed. Seen 3 people who had thier cars towed this morning. Floors are dirty. Sand in the beds. Im not making this up. Do not waste your money!
