Palette Sunset Waves Resort Myrtle Beach Oceanfront

Super bad. Beds weren’t even the same. The bedroom had just ONE lamp, and we had one single towel. A dresser was BROKEN, we didn’t have a tv, nor a phone. Floor was dirty and had weird stains on it, and it was just not in a good environment at all. Pools were closed and looked weird. The lady at the front desk was kind, but other than that we didn’t enjoy it.

Ok we know MB can be a little rough but…You wouldn’t believe how terrible this place is. It’s nowhere near what’s advertised, dirty, and doesn’t even have working elevators or fire alarms. I thought for sure it was a trafficking scheme when we pulled up. Definitely wouldn’t survive a night there, much less enjoy a trip. No pool, and apparently oceanfront means a view of the mangy parking lot. No pools no balconies and no apologies. Luckily we were able to get a place a few blocks down but you’re better off getting arrested and sleeping in jail if you need a place. Negative stars, and this review is very nice compared to how I truly feel about this…. Place.

I actually do not see how this place is still open. Room was dirty, pool was dirt. Not wheel chair friendly. When I told them we had someone in wheel chair and that the elevator wasn’t not working . They look at us and said oh well pretty much. We ended up not staying there and they won’t give us our money back. Please do not book with these people. Total scam. Someone commented on my review talking we can talking about a refund. Guess what never heard back from them. Tried to do a dispute with my CC company they fought that too. All I wanted was a to book a nice vacation for my mother who is in the wheelchair that has been in and out of the hospital for two years. But nahhhhh there are people like these who will scam EVERYONE. I beg please NO ONE stay here .

This has been the worst experience I've ever had. When we arrived we could not find the the office the parking lot was blocked off, no signage, they gave me a room that was not what I had a confirmation for, front desk staff "stated thats not what our system states" she had no personality whatso ever. Get to room, sofa bed is old and stained, air conditioner not working as it set of 60, the out room the air barely worked and then when we tried to change it, the smoke detector started going off, no remote for TV. The pool to the building was green. Went back to front off get another room, now I get the one that I made reservations for, it is much better for the most part, till we wake up and our bathroom is flooded from the ceiling above. This location is actually the Sea Mist, it is run down! No signs! Main parking blocked off! No WiFi, no tv, all pools were closed! Lazy river was closed! No toilet paper, when I called for some they told me "come get some"! No phones in the rooms! Balcony was screwed shut! Only one of my rooms had air conditioning! The other room had no hot water! None of this was disclosed at all until I questioned it!! Horrible customer service! Definitely my worst trip to date!! I will NEVER book here again!! On the 3rd floor with 2 kids and the elevator doesn't work at all! Had to cut our vacation short because we couldn't even sleep comfortably!! The place looks nothing like the pictures!
