Palette Resort Myrtle Beach

Although the place is under construction, it is a very nice place its coming together very great me and my boyfriend went down to Myrtle Beach to cook and enjoy the beach the GM Shalonda was such an amazing person and very helpful. The best management I’ve came across in years. She was amazing. She really made the place a better stay. It was good but her being so helpful and very pleasant made us feel very comfortable staying there. She was awesome.

Unless something has changed. Do NOT stay here. My travel company and I are still waiting on a response and refund from the hotel. My guest and I were scheduled to stay at the Palette Hotel for three nights July 18-21st of 2025, but due to serious health and sanitation concerns, we had to check in to a different hotel.||At initial check in while waiting for our room, we used the lobby restrooms—both stalls were unclean. One toilet wouldn’t flush and was filled with waste. ||Inside our room, the stove and refrigerator were rusted, outdated, and far from hygienic. After some sightseeing, we returned and went to bed—only to discover the next morning that my guest had been bitten multiple times. Positive: The front desk was very efficient and made sure we had towels as she double checked our room before giving us the keys. Negative: The rooms are being updated but there is still more work to be done. The bed was comfortable and the ocean view was great but we couldn?t sit on the balcony because of the smoke from marijuana use from other rooms.

Coming from The country Inn and suites up the road (which was horrible) the service sucked and the woman at the front seat was rude and not helpful at all. This was a breath of fresh air. I would just like to personally say that the receptionist was amazing. Her hospitality was on point and she did her best to accommodate myself and my work crew at a very last-minute time. And although the hotel is under renovations , they made sure to keep the noise down to a minimum for us and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean and it smelled nice. I will definitely be booking here again the next time I’m in Myrtle Beach.

The room was not clean .. we went to the front desk and they told us we would get a refund . we been waiting for 2 months and when we called them they are no help . Then they tried to tell us no one said we where getting a refund and try to say we were lying but why would we lie when we have proof of switching hotels room? DO NOT GO I WISH I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE ZERO STARS! Tbh it should be shut down or get new management .
