Over the Hill RV Park

If I could give a 100 star rating I would. This place is amazing. Really quiet and peaceful. The views are fantastic and the sites are spaced out so you’re not on top of someone else. Best park in the area in my opinion!

This was the perfect spot from which to explore the surrounding area, it's a quiet and peaceful retreat from after a days adventure. Having traveled from Australia, I couldn't think of a better place to get established. The owners, Don and Amy Johnston were a fountain of local knowledge and I'm indebted to them for their generous assistance. The Mockingbirds would always lift my spirits.

Very nice RV park complete with stock pond for fishing

It is my pleasure to write a review of "Over the Hill RV Park" on Picturerock Road outside of Poteau, Oklahoma. My wife and I stayed there for 6 months. The lots are spacious, level and clean. The owners, Don and Amy Johnston, are fabulous people. They are willing to help any way they can. Amenities include: clean water, electric, septic hookups and wi-fi. There is a stocked pond and abundant wildlife. Each of the sites have a clear view of Cavanaugh Hill, the World's tallest hill. Each site has a new picnic table and burn ring for evening gatherings around a fire. There is a wood shed to purchase firewood. There is a utility light at each site. The park is pet friendly.
