Black Angus Motel Poteau

For a nice clean cheap room, everything I expected. No frills, just quiet place to sleep for the night. My non-smoking room was clean and orderly. No problems at all. Everything worked.

I have stayed in all types of hotels, motels, inns, suites...for the money this was a great value. Our room was clean and warm. The bathroom was clean and had a tub which was great for bathing my small child after a day on the trails. We had a fridge and microwave, which helped save on our good bill. If I'd listened to all the reviews instead of giving Black Angus a chance we would have spent a lot more money unnecessarily.

Positive: the location Negative: we went to bed that night rhen I was awakened by bedbugs biting me twice. Yes it was visible but I couldnt catch it. It scurried behind the head of the mattress. I moved the mattress, but it was already gone. Manager acted like he already knew.

Very interesting environment surrounding this establishment! I think a male traveller could get just about every accomodation they could get at say, a las vegas resort motel. Maintainence man is top notch if you find your room lacking, he and his girlfriend will get right on top of the problem immediately! Never stayed a night there i wasnt totally satisfied! If cheap and simple is what you like, this place will accomodate you right on off the chart! So if you got 40 bucks laying around and are travelling through and want ALL the comforts of home! You have my word youll enjoy the ride After a day of driving only thing i had to complain about was paper towel dispencer was always empty...

If you want a affordable motel that has a comfy bed, mini fridge, microwave and is clean most importantly then this is the place for you. I have been here two days as my truck broke down, but with that the staff was friendly and everything. It is a comfy bed and a clean room on a budget. Thanks y'all!
