OUTRIGGER Kāʻanapali Beach Resort

Kaanapali is where it is at and the Outrigger is where to stay. Great value and even better stay. Relaxed, super chill, friendly vibes in the best location in Kaanapali. Large garden grounds. Reef off the beach. Walk to coffee and shops. Small waves great for swimming and kids. At night - torches and live music. Staff are super friendly. We booked a ground level garden/ocean facing room and loved it. Made going in and out of the room easy. The room is updated and bigger than expected with a small sunken living room and extra twin bed along with two queens and a large bathroom that was super clean with lots of hooks for hanging beach clothes. We used the in room micro kitchen a lot (fridge, kettle, coffee maker, pantry, counter) and there is a microwave in the housekeeping area. The powe

Hotel was good in terms of amenities but the cleaners won’t make beds or clean… only refill supplies. The most annoying bit was they advertised cheaper fare through trip.com and despite me showing them paperwork as proof of the rate that I signed up for, they won’t honour that rate and still charges me much higher rate! They asked me to talk to my third party provider instead to sort it out! This is totally unacceptable and unethical! They must not sell through third parties if they want to apply their own rates at the end regardless! I would stay away from them!

My family had a great stay, the room was updated and great beachfront location. Their staff was great during our time there too but really went above and beyond after we checked out. I accidentally left my AirPods in the room, and upon realizing I left them, I called, they found them and the next day they mailed them back to me. They really went above and beyond and I’m so appreciative. A big mahalo to their housekeeping keep and manager for their help!

We had a wonderful stay at this resort. The beautiful courtyard created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the easy access to Kaanapali Beach was a big plus. We loved the banana bread from the restaurant near the lobby, and the daily room service with fresh towels was excellent. The lanyard given during the departure ceremony was a thoughtful touch. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay!

Excellent experience. We just returned from a week at the Outrigger Ka'anapali Beach Resort. We had a perfect ocean view room and close to the beach. The beach is incredible. The housekeeping staff, especially Lorna was excellent and took care of us going above our expectations. We wish the hotel restaurants were open more days, but we knew they were short staff. I would highly recommend this hotel and we plan to return in the future.
