Kahana Reef by Maui Condo and Home

The area is beautiful, well maintained exterior with fantastic views. Chairs available to relax and lay out on the lawn. Access to a small beach. Have been informed that the small beach area is not recommend for evening and night swims. Barracuda, Manta Ray, and a couple of 4 foot sharks frequent the area at dusk and night.

The place itself is very nice. Nice to have an ocean front property. The pool is nice and warm and is hardly busy. The people staying here all seem really nice. We are staying in condo 201. Not my favorite condo I've ever stayed in. We had a cockroach come in today. Yuck. Trapped it in the shower and had to find a worker to come get it out. The ceiling fans switch in the living room is broken so it is constantly running. The bedroom is very small no drawer space in bedroom for clothes. The furniture and bed are comfy though. There are lots of dishware. If you use a mobility scooter I wouldn't recommend this room. It is very hard to get in the room because of the tight corner in the hall.

Kahana Reef 116 Lovely property that is all ocean front. Turtles outside every morning off the seawall. And we even saw Spotted Eagle Rays come close. The actual condo definitely could use some love, and decor. Some of the money they make in renting should go back into the property. It would be magical to see some colors of the ocean or even a less scratchy blanket on the bed. If this was 1978 Im sure I'd be impressed with the decor as is, but yuck time for a redo! Time for a rating.. Bed 5/5 Pillows 2/5 Blanket 0/5 Bathroom 2/5 toilet ran constantly and again decor. Living space 2/3 Kitchen 4/5 ugly cabinets that didn't close properly. Comfort 4/5 ac was nice to have. Outside 5/5 This is where 116 shines. Ground floor, steps to the ocean. Screen door would be nice to have a functional loc

Overall great place. Easy parking, everything in working order, also a great week being the closet had beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, etc... Perfect to head to the beach with. Plenty of dishes etc if you wanted to cook or use the grills which are in the main area, chairs to sit in front of the ocean, and the pool was nice enough too. Pretty quiet atmosphere to relax in. Looks like public laundry area downstairs that I didn't need to use. My only wish would be for air conditioning!

We stayed 4 nights in a Airbnb rental. Home was clean, well decorated...it felt as comfortable as Home. All homes have direct view to the Ocean. There is a little beach that will give swimmers and snorkel enthusiasts access to a large area. Get ready to see Fish and Turtles. There is a laundromat and a swimming pool. We loved our stay.
