Customer Reviews
Positive: Hot springs Negative: Nickeled and diced at every corner. (You have to RENT the robes in the room). This is cheap motel masquerading as luxury
Our experience was so bad we left after only staying one night- despite planning to stay multiple nights. Rooms are dirty, moldy, a you can see daylight coming through the doorframe. Staff is rude and unaccommodating. We were unable to visit the spa because they don’t have enough staff. I wouldn’t call this a resort. I’d call it a roach motel with hot springs and a pool. Breakfast buffet was $47 for two people. Food was cold and bland. We left the food on our plates and checked out. Do yourself a favor and go down the street for a better experience in a pretty, historical building.
We stayed at Twin Peaks last night and it was fantastic, I highly recommend! It is a beautiful cozy location, clean, and every staff member was friendly and helpful. The hot springs were incredible! The temperatures of all the pools were perfect and I loved how close they were to the mountains - we got to watch the moon come up over the peaks and it was amazing. I was especially impressed with the comfort of the rooms! No exaggeration, the beds were very comfortable - one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve slept in. Will definitely be back!
I had an amazing time in Ouray! The front desk staff is very nice, friendly, helpful. The location was perfect because the town is very cozy so you can basically walk anywhere you need. The town closes at like 8pm tho with the exception of a few restaurants. Hotel essential needs were met and the convenience of hot springs on property was phenomenal. It was very relaxing and the overall experience was exactly as expected!!! Thank you Twin Peaks my family’s happy and so am I
Rude and unhelpful front desk staff. The resort doesn’t tell you what your charges are and when you ask for a print out of your folio to better understand what you’re paying for, you’re given an attitude and told that your charges will just show up on the credit card when you leave. If this hotel refuses to print anything under the guise of being “green”, at least email the guests an itemized expected charges statement at check in. It’s not that hard. Besides the unwelcome, constantly bothered attitude from the front desk, this place clearly has shady business practices and it goes hand in hand with the following: 1- Dingy state of rooms (see other reviews for details), 2-The cheap quality serving tools at the breakfast buffet that are either falling apart, melting, burning your hands whe
