Osprey Point Inn

The inn and restaurant are just so special. We came just before Xmas on our way to New York and returned NYE. We have been at the inn over the summer as well. The rooms are very comfortable. New beds, great towels and simple but very welcoming. Cookies greet you on the bed. The rooms are immaculate!. The restaurant is superb! The chef is simply fantastic and our meals are fantastic. Be sure to check days the restaurant is open. And did I mention, the entire staff is so welcoming. Furthermore the town next door Chestertown has a super book store. New and used books. And a great chocolate store( all hand made)

What a gem! We spent a perfect fall weekend at the Osprey Point Inn. The Inn is in a picturesque setting, with the grounds well kept and the view of the water and docked boats relaxing. Our room (Bolero) was so nice, with a gas fireplace, sitting area, and poster bed. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at the restaurant. (My husband loved the wedge salad and his crab cake. He also enjoyed fried oysters as an appetizer. I enjoyed my soft shell crab). Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had at a bed & breakfast. (Highlights were the lemon French toast, two types of frittatas, and amazing sausage gravy and biscuits. There was also assorted breads and pastries, with cereals and yogurts). Every staff member we encountered was very friendly and seemed like they genuinely enjoyed their work. S

I stayed at the Inn at Osprey Point with friends and family in connection with my daughter's wedding party in Chestertown. The staff could not have been more congenial. The accommodations were superb. Breakfast was excellent. The offerings were quite plentiful. The rooms and common areas are very well appointed and pristine. A large group of our party rented The Farmhouse, which was exceptional. The location is very convenient to access and was close to our party venue in Chestertown. The cost was very reasonable given all that was offered, especially compared to other options in the area. The Inn is an excellent and intimate setting and I recommend it wholeheartedly.

The location (Annex Starboard room) was absolutely fabulous and the room was exceptionally clean and cozy. Even with a wind chill of about 13 degrees (F) outside, the heat kept the room comfortable. The staff, both checking in and out was very pleasant and accommodating. Major complaints: The bathroom/shower was very small with virtually no counter space. A major concern was that the shower had no hand rails at all. Given that one has to step up slightly into it, a hand rail or two would have been very helpful. The room itself had no furniture for counter space, except for two small night stands. Electrical outlets were rather difficult to reach. The Inn was very nice, both for the morning breakfast as well as the New Years Eve Fix Price dinner As I said overall very nice.

Wonderful birthday weekend in Rock Hall! We stayed in the Annex to the Inn at Osprey Point, which is waterfront about a half mile from the main Inn. The staff were warm and friendly. The room (Port) was impeccably clean, comfortable, relaxing, and much larger than expected. The sunset view from the room was even better than we anticipated. Breakfast at the Inn was an easy jaunt, and included a delectible array of breakfast items with a marina view. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and highly recommend.
