Bay Breeze Inn II

I only saw the reviews after I stayed here. It looks like new management took over and you can disregard the older negative reviews. Bay Breeze Inn II is located in the heart of Rock Hall. It is clean, cozy and charming with a comfortable living room and basic but nice bedrooms and bathrooms. The breakfast was just muffins and coffee, but I was here for a triathlon and left very early and didn’t need more than that. It is near a firehouse and I was woken at night by an alarm. And again when someone went down the creaky stairs - bring earplugs. But it’s a good option in a town that is limited in accommodations.

Please note, the Inn has new ownership. The old reviews are not reflective of the current state. We had a great night here. The house is clean and neat, with multiple common areas to sit and read or talk on the first floor. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The inn is really well situated, with a wine bar attached, a brew pub across the street, and a set of cute shops just a block away. We loved it, and are already talking about going back.

My husband and I were taking a course at the Maryland School of Sailing and needed a place to stay in Rock Hall, MD. Luckily we found Bay Breeze Inn had availability and was reasonably priced (a place nearby and similar wanted over $3,000 for 5 days!). The owner Jim was such a delight to rent from! He was kind and attentive. We stayed at the carriage house, it was adorable and clean. Everything is within walking distance and the town is so charming. We highly recommend staying at one of Jim's properties, he has different types of accommodations to suit everyone's needs and he even has a kayaking business! He kindly offered us a day of kayaking but unfortunately we were just too tired. Also, he gives discounts for those attending the Maryland School of Sailing which was so generous.

Had a lovely experience staying in the Haven room! Perfect for triathalon weekend. Safe, clean, spacious, quiet. Susan, the innkeeper, is so lovely and helpful.

The owners of this B & B and the adjacent kayak business are very nice and accomodating.||We enjoyed both of our visits there in July. The decks off the rooms that we stayed in were great to sit out at night, listen to their nice waterfall trickling into their Koi pond. The rooms are comfortable and we especially liked the one on the third floor. Nice and big with a shower and claw tub in the bathroom. Nice continental breakfast in the morning and a wonderful restaurant right across the street for dinner. Nice place to stay if you find yourself in Rock Hall Maryland.
