Bayshore Campgrounds

The beautiful view of the Chesapeake Bay is why we come to this campground. The proprietors are very nice people. |There isn't much to do at the campground, though. It's hard to get down to the water. The bathhouse is closed, so you need to shower in your trailer. The sites are very close together. |But, all in all, we enjoyed just sitting by the water and relaxing. Off season was our choice. It's definitely worth checking out.

Nice campground. There were a lot of nice spots, and lots of trees for shade. It was extremely quiet which was relaxing. We had a 30 second walk to the water for some fishing and bonding time with my son. Great view of the bay and a nice breeze. Night time was also extremely quiet with a great view of the stars. Trips to.town were quick or head south for more views and fishing. Everyone there was very friendly. We will definitely be returning.

Absolutely Gorgeous place to put your camper, right at the waters edge. Friendly staff and wonderful neighbors too. Peace and serene environment. Only draw back was there's no rest rooms/powder room to shower. They have placed portable potty around the camp. I will visit again, my babies loved the place...

The campground was nice, our spot was a premium water front spot with excellent views, but just as with every campground/ RV resort you have built in neighbors and on Saturday evening our neighbors had invited 50 of their closest friends for a party, instantly turned the place into a carnival scene..

The folks who run this campground are super nice, the camp store was well stocked, the water views are gorgeous, and we caught a beautiful sunset. Most of the sites (including all of the ones on the water) were longterm rentals who parked a massive RV for the season (or all year?) and camped on the weekends or vacations. The remainder were weekenders like us. The site map doesn’t really convey how SMALL these sites are. We were within maybe 10 feet of FOUR other rigs, which made these sites about ⅓ the size of the Eastern Shore state parks—at triple the price. The electrical box was also so dirty and cobweb covered that we had to brush it off before we could use it, and it was encrusted enough that it had clearly been there a while.
