Ore House Inn

My wife and I stayed at the Oar House Inn for a full month in December 2025. Each room is very creatively and artistically appointed and decorated. For our longer-term stay, we really appreciated how well the kitchen was equipped! The bed was super comfortable (and I had just had hip replacement surgery). We wanted for nothing. The Oar House is also situated very conveniently in Old Town New Castle. It was so nice to just walk a few steps to a restaurant and enjoy this quintessential mountain town. The owners are also super nice and accommodating. We highly recommend the Oar House Inn. It is only 10-15 minutes from Glenwood Springs and close to Sunlight Ski Resort. For us, we work in the Roaring Fork Valley during the holidays, and New Castle proved to be convenient for working f

We stayed in the tombstone room for one night while we went to Glenwood Springs activities. The room is an easy 10 minute drive from Glenwood. Check in was easy with a keypad. The suite is huge with a bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. Everything was clean and air conditioning was running. There were no free arcade games, but there were board games and television, if you are coming to hang out in the suite. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The price was very reasonable for what it was and hands down better than a hotel stay any day.

The Ore House Inn was a unique and cozy stay-cation getaway for myself and my partner over Valentines weekend! We stayed in the Gotham Villain room, "Iceberg Lounge", with DC themed murals and art. Communication with the host is great, and the discounts for local eats and entertainment were a great perk! I'd stay again!

We stayed in the TOMBSTONE room. It was fantastic! So spacious. We were able to have the windows open and the breeze coming thru was so nice. We were actually only supposed to stay 1 night but we enjoyed it so much, we stayed 2. The decor is very nice and all the furniture is clean and comfortable. The pictures on the walls were neat. They even have books laying around for you to read and enjoy. The location is perfect. Cori was great to deal with and answered any questions we had very quickly.

I loved my room and location. Right next to the library I had an assignment due and it was right next door. The Inn set me up it was so just a easy process and had me comfortable…This is where you want to come to get started for my fellow travel healthcare and tourist..Thank you Ore Inn
