Definitely not a resort. Website is misleading. Basically a residential park mixed with vacationers and snowbirds. Location works for speedweek. This is a no if you’re looking for a beautiful campground for your vacation. Photos show what we had to look at for six nights. Yes management was notified. Ladies that run the office were the best! They are very nice and greet you on check in! They were the best part of the park.
Wifi is touch and go. Cable is horrible. By the time you put the code in for the bathroom, you don't need it anymore. Power transforms blow alot. Water is shut off all the time. It floods with heavy rains. I have pics. The restrictions on dogs was lifted. People leave the dogs poop on ground. Kids running wild in the park with no supervision. Management picks and chooses who can break the rules and others gey notices from lawyers before they know there's a problem.
NOT FOR TRAVELERS! Highly advise you DON’T stay here if you have a long rig. We are full time RV’ers and have stayed in 100+ parks of all kinds over the past 2 years with our 40’ fifth-wheel, and this one is the worst. Very narrow roads and corners are extremely tight, made worse by vehicles regularly parked in streets and on already tight corners with trees and sheds/stuff/RV’s. This park is mostly long term residents with a some sites having an excessive amount of stuff/vehicles around them. This park has a long way to go before it feels like an RV “resort” or is up to the standards we have experienced in other SunOutdoors RV parks. They are redoing some sites with nice pavers, however they could start with enforcing basic SunOutdoors rules to improve the overall feel/appearance of this
My family and I stayed here for about two weeks and I have no complaints about the place. The staff are friendly, the pool and hot tub are great and the community was pretty quiet. We would definitely recommend this place. About all the negative comments, I guess some people are just cry babys or just love to complain about any little thing because we had absolutely no issues !
This is not a resort by any means, they need to move some of the older units out or tell the owners to clean up there spots. The place is not manicured and has unkept lots. This seems like a health department issues, can be safe.
