Luna Sands Resort

I have been very impressed with this campground. The management of this park is outstanding. I have camped at more than 240 campgrounds in the last 20 years and this is the best private park I have stayed at. The facilities are very clean and well maintained.and the park is quiet. The managers, Anthony and Shannon, have skilled volunteer helpers that have extensive experience in RV Service and electrical repair in case there is a need. Many interesting activities are planned throughout each month, A heated swimming pool and hot tub are available as well as a well-equipped gym. There is also a laundry mat, recreation hall, dog park, wooded walking trails, and playground. I was given help in putting my RV on the pull-through site and in safely leaving the campground with my 30-foot travel

very well maintained and yes the security check is thorough the park is gate guarded and smile protected. Definitely family friendly

I can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was! Anthony was very welcoming from the moment we walked in, he even took us to our camp site. We were there for Valentine’s weekend and they had a Valentine’s dinner in the rec hall that Anthony and his wife prepared which was absolutely delicious. Our neighbor next to us Lou was the nicest guy and invited us to his bonfire and introduced us to a few other campers, we felt very welcomed. The campground itself is beautiful with a pool, playground, laundry facility, and even a dog park. The bathhouse was extremely clean and well kept. If you’re planning a trip to be in the area this is the place to stay, we’re looking forward to next stay! Thank you Anthony for making things so nice!

This is truly a beautiful, family-oriented place where you can tell the owners and staff take pride in every little detail. From some of the cleanest restrooms I’ve ever seen to a bright, well-kept laundry room, everything here feels cared for and welcoming. The people who run this resort go above and beyond to make it feel warm and inviting. I was lucky enough to stay here during Halloween, and they made it such a special experience! They hosted a fun trick-or-treat event in the clubhouse, and later in the evening, they even took the kids on a trailer ride around the park to collect candy. It was such a thoughtful touch that showed how much they care about their guests and families. I have been here as a permanent resident for a year and 3 months. Love this place. Residents here are very nice. Shannon and her husband Anthony are the best you can get. They go out of there why to get things done. They are out taking care of visitors and residents all hours of the day. They plan many community functions. There are several activities each week to participate in plus special ones as well. Shannon and her husband do all the planning for ever function. It creates a spectacular feeling of community and sharing.
