Orange City Motel

On a main road so the nose of traffic is there, but other than that it's fairly quiet. Decent for what it is. TV was set low, almost bumped my head on it. Showers were warm at best, slightly hot towards the end. Not bad overall

We were not expecting anything fancy, nor was it. It WAS clean, comfortable and we felt safe. The bed was comfortable, no blanket just a scratchy bedspread. But the a/c worked, it smelled fresh. New paint, drapes and carpet. Renovated bathrooms but no comfort height commode! TV worked, a channel listing would have been nice. I will say for visually and physically impaired, the walkways are hazardous. The exterior lighting is very good but the walkways are at funny angles and only partially edge marked. The one handicapped parking place near our room did not have ease of access or rails or wide enough for a wheelchair. Being a recent accessibility challenged person, I'm more aware than before. We needed a clean, no-frills place to stay for the night. This motel was perfect. The front desk was friendly and polite, the beds were clean and comfortable, and our room was quiet and restful.

One of the worse motels I have ever stayed in and I stayed there for a few months. So I definitely know. The only thing nice about the place is the maids other than that the owner is rude. He think he can talk to you how ever he wants since he owns the place. Im a single father taking care of 2 kids plus on my own and I'm a truck driver. The owner put us out on the streets for using up to much water. Making claims that my kids were taking 3 hour showers. The place ia ran down, roaches everywhere, building falling apart but want to blame my kids for the septic over flowing. Blaming my kids for busted pipes. How about you put some money into your building and fix it up. I mean you only have 1 washer and 1 dryer and its outside with no seating around it to watch your clothes. Yes, if you wash
