One Horse Motel

This hotel was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It is also convenient to town services. The room was very small with nowhere to sit inside. It is also a remote, email, check in with no staff available. We were lucky enough to have neighbors sitting outside who helped us with information. It is also expensive for what it is but West Yellowstone is crazy expensive for some reason. I would stay here again but would also check out other options.

I think this hotel is doing the best it thinks it can, but for the price it fell short of my expectations. Why is everything an insane price in West Yellowstone? We did have just shades for the window, but nothing really bothered us much in the way of light coming in through it at night, but the AC unit was monstrously loud. So much so that we opened the window at night rather than run it. And then we got outside noises. I was happy to have a table to write on, so apparently that was a bonus (we had a room with just one bed) but I agree with others about the check-in------our key was in the lock box without being locked, all set to the right combination to open the door, and when I questioned the owners by email about that and the toilet that was hardly functional with a broken seat,

We only stayed one night on our way to Yellowstone and it was a last minute reservation. I loved the convenience of arranging and accessing the room. The room was surprisingly large and comfortable. We would definitely come back and use the motel as our base.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It is self check-in/check-out and the phone number provided goes to an automated message for Yellowstone Adventures, so it could be a little difficult to contact staff if there are issues. The price was a good deal and the location is convenient for a Yellowstone vacation. We would not stay here again, because it was hard to sleep. The windows have no drapes and light shines in through the blinds. Worse, the walls are very thin and let sound through. Every night we stayed, a loud and drunken group of people was hanging out in the chairs in the parking lot outside the rooms. We could also hear the guests in our neighboring room having an argument late at night.

I had a wonderful stay at One Horse Motel. The room was very clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything I needed, including a fridge, microwave, TV, and strong Wi-Fi. The location couldn’t be better—just a few minutes from the West Entrance of Yellowstone. Almost everything is within walking distance: restaurants, shops, and supermarkets, and there’s even a lovely park right across the street. Parking right in front of the room was convenient, and the check-in process was simple. Overall, this motel is a great choice for anyone visiting Yellowstone National Park and looking for comfort and good value!
