Oceanside Marina Suites‎

Beautiful place. Beautiful room. Beautiful view. I loved how private it was, but it can get a little too quiet, and you do hear a lot of the seals and whatever your neighbors are watching and laughing at on TV. I think the biggest killer for me was the fact there was no elevator or some kind of easier way to bring your luggage up. I was generally okay walking up and down stairs, but I felt terrible that my boyfriend was carrying all the luggage up and down the stairs. (Because my bf was keeping this location a surprise from me, I had no idea about there being no elevator, unfortunately). As far as I'm aware, there's no person to assist with this, so you're just stuck to your devices. The jacuzzi was nice. You could time how long you'd want the jacuzzi running for for up to 30min. Checkin requires calling someone offsite, if you can even find the lobby (signage here is basically nonexistent). They direct you to a lockbox, but the person on the phone doesn’t know where it is. After 45 minutes of hunting for this lockbox at 2am, and finally getting a key, you get a room that is musty, hot, and humid, only to discover that there is no air conditioning to speak of, only heat which can’t be turned off. Opening the patio door accomplishes nothing to make it a tolerable sleeping temperature. ||Floors are uneven, and handicap accessibility here is nonexistent. Lots and lots of stairs. Parking anything bigger than a compact car is going to be challenging. ||All in all, avoid this place like the plague that probably lurks within the walls.

I've been coming here for years. The property is on the end of a peninsula north of the O"side pier with the most fabulous virews ever. You are surrounded by water. It's located on the mouth of the channel that leads to the open ocean. The grounds are beautiful and pristine with green luscious walkways. So much sea life, birds to see and can watch the boats heading to sea. The rooms are very comfortable with full kitchens. I deducted a star because even though the rooms are clean, it's very dated. The kitchen is sparsely equipped so had to ask for additional pots, pans and cooking utensils. But this has and will not stop me from coming back. The pool is really nice too. Feels like you're on a little island. Just don't expect a 5 star place but the location, comfortable and staff is amaz

The manager of this establishment, Monica, is unnecessarily rude and ill mannered. My mother is unable to book a room for herself, so I booked a room for her. I do this regularly and it’s never been an issue. Despite the fact that I had paid in full, Monica refused to let my elderly mother check-in because I wasn’t present, despite that I was actively on the phone confirming. She wanted me to drive down from three hours away, as sick as a dog, to check in my mother. Not once did I raise my voice to her, I was not rude for even an instant, but she was unprofessional and pugnacious for the entire interaction. I will never stay here again. I was beyond belief impressed with every single aspect of my 3day 2 night Birthday stay in a Deluxe Premium Suite at Oceanside Marina Suites! Upon entering the hotel, it was so stunning with views on one side of the Marina & the other side was the gorgeous pool & the Pacific Ocean just beyond that!I was greeted at the front desk by an extremely friendly & helpful agent named Monica, which started me off to a fantastic stay. I arrived early absolutely ready to wait but she surprisingly told me my room was ready, which was Awesome! As soon as I walked into my room, I was totally blown that my room had the view of the pool which led to a cove & past the the Pacific Ocean!
