Ocean West Motel

This the best hotel I've been in at Myrtle Beach everyone looks out for everyone but at same time stays to their selves. Never see cops like at other hotels. Their is no drama. The owners are very nice & the rooms are very spacious hell I was there 3 months owners let us fix room up to like a little apartment took extra bed out put couch in it was very homey;)

The owner of this nice little motel has this place set in a very nice atmosphere around it and even has a tikibar out back and he occasionally throws some nice shindigs, on some holidays and even cooks on the grill for all of his tenants and the food is as good as any high end restaurants!!! No wonder why you'll have to have some good luck to be able to get a room there because it's rare that a room will be available for very long, before some one will be already grabbed it when it becomes available! And no, it's not Ocean front,... but personally, I'd rather stay there where there's so much history,... being that it's one of the few Mom & Pops motels left in Myrtle Beach... than being in one of those high-rise hotels that the staff mostly don't have that good of a personality when gu

Delightful motel two blocks from the beach. Reasonable prices and clean rooms that remind me of my childhood family vacations. Great personal service and the owner will invite all the guests in the motel when he has a family BBQ. No problem parking and the air conditioning was strong in July! I will definitely go back!

I love staying here. In the back there is a tiki bar, dance floor, fire pit, even horse shoes and corn hole games for the children.There is a large, clean swimming pool with picnic tables, and lawn chairs. They also have A propane grill ready to use, at no additional charge to you. It's a wonderful place to snuggle up to a loved one or to let your hair down and have a good time. They have cookouts for the guest sometimes and the staff is really down to earth and willing to please. The room was Immaculate and comfortable.If and when I ever return to Myrtle Beach I will definitely be staying and Ocean West Motel!

Good prices considering how close it is to the beach. I thought the owners were sweet and loved the free barbecue. Definitely not a 5 star glam hotel, but i prefer the laid back family vibe and simplicity. Would definitely go back
