Ocean Mile Hotel & Suites

Great customer service and they let me check in a hour early. On site parking included in room price and the room was clean and nice. Really no complaints I had towels, body wash, shampoo, clean sheets with comfortable bed and the AC kept the room cool, plus it was spacious with a full sized fridge. For $140 a night after taxes you can’t beat that! They had a pool but I didn’t try it. Overall, for the price, $140 a night, it’s worth a five star

I had a reservation through Orbitz and afternoon of check-in I ran into a problem with my flight. It was a 315pm flight that kept getting delayed and after 8 hours I had to cancel. I called the hotel and advised that I would have to cancel as I couldn’t find another flight. I followed up the next morning and spoke with Tony and asked about a partial refund or credit for a future stay. He advised me to call Orbitz as any refund would have to come from them. I did and Orbitz agent said that the hotel would have to agree and she called the hotel. She then told me that Tony was very argumentative and would not agree. Bottom line these folks lie and may be illegally charging tax, etc. for canceled reservations. I would advise to stay away from!

The room was dirty and had mosquitoes and biting insects, which caused us to spend our one-night stay sleepless. The room facilities were poor. Upon arrival, there was no one at the reception, and the door was locked, even though we arrived during the posted working hours. After waiting for twenty minutes, we asked another hotel guest to let us use their phone to call the number on the window, and only then did we receive our room entry code.

I’m a small business owner myself so I really don’t like to leave bad reviews, however my experience with this company was so terrible I feel like I need to warn others. This motel is having a serious mold issue and they need to correct it as they are putting their guests in danger. Our AC unit was full of black mold. After the first night I woke up so sick. I opened up the unit and it was black. We were only given one washcloth and 2 towels . I used the one washcloth to try and clean the filter. I told the front desk about this and she said they clean once a week. There is no way that is true. There was black mold crawling up the ceiling from the AC unit spraying it all over. Beyond this serious health issue, there are no amenities at all. No cups for coffee, no coffee, if you want to swi

The Hotel was much better than I expected for the cost. It is right across the street from the beach at a 1/3 to 1/4 the cost of the big hotels on the beach. The Hotel is under going renovations and updating the rooms. I found the rooms to be comfortable and clean. The staff and service is excellent!!! This is a family run hotel and they pride themselves on making your stay enjoyable. To top it all off, I left a valuable behind in the room and I had to call back from Texas to see if they could retrieve it , which they did. It would have been easy to say it wasn't there but these are good honest people and returned my property to me. You WILL NOT find that kind of service in the corporate-run hotels on the beach. You are better off saving a few bucks staying here and getting far better serv
