Ocean House Inn Hotel and Condos

Our guided tour company had reserved most of the lodge for our group. My husband and I were assigned to Suite 2 which had two bedrooms with a hallway and bathroom between. Both rooms had plenty of room to walk around the bed, and the back bedroom had a nice chest of drawers with plenty of space on top. Everything was very comfortable, clean, and pretty and we just loved it.||The outdoor area was where we spent most of our time while at the hotel. We had a loveseat and table in front of our unit, a great place for morning coffee. A few steps away was a wooden deck with more seating and a fire pit, with picnic tables nearby. Our three night stay was wonderful! Room was nice and clean. The grounds were clean and well groomed The view is spectacular! We are ready to come back again.

Beautiful location with a wonderful view! We had the Big Mermaid with a comfortable King size bed. We had two nice chairs and a fire pit that was ours just outside our room on a lovely deck. There was a community hot tub, but we didn’t use it. However, we saw others that did. The room was very clean and smelled sanitary upon entry. The bathroom was smaller but had good hot water and water pressure. There is a coffee maker, microwave, and fridge in the room. Excellent location and easy to get to everything around Homer with a vehicle. I would definitely recommend!

We rented the Captains Quarters for 2 nights at the end of a 14 day Alaska tour. The bed was super comfy and the views spectacular. The room is also very spacious. Outdoor amenities looked good, but it was rainy and chilly, so we took a pass. On the down side, a large family rented the rest of the property and had no consideration for keeping quiet. The thin walls didn't help. Also, the only heat source for the room is a 6" x 6" space heater we had to move from sleeping to bath to take a shower .

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ocean House and it has been our favorite stop during our two week vacation around Alaska. It felt very cozy and had all the desired amenities. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the decor was perfect. My family and I enjoyed the fire pits at night as well as the hot tub and walks along the beach. Sandy and everyone I met were super friendly, helpful and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
