Best Western Bidarka Inn

Excellent Stay with Outstanding Staff and Beautiful Views I stayed at the Best Western in Homer while traveling for work and had an excellent experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived. One small touch I really appreciated was the quick coffee available at the reception — perfect for early mornings before heading out. The rooms are large, very clean, and come in a variety of layouts, which makes the stay comfortable whether you’re traveling alone or with colleagues. The complimentary breakfast was great, and the view over the bay toward the glaciers while eating is simply stunning. Another highlight is the Otter Room bar, which is conveniently located right at the hotel. It offers great food and drinks, and you can play pull tabs while chatting

very comfortable bed, nice room! Unfortunately our room was over the on site bar which was very noisy along with being next to the stairs. Good hot breakfast with lots of good views while your eating. The whole property was a little dirty, dated, outside on the grounds. Otherwise very comfortable room wise.

Just got done visiting Homer and had a wonderful stay at this location (December 2025) This is the only hotel in Homer with a fitness gym (was a big plus of me) and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. We didn’t end up eating at their restaurant- but the bar looked cool and they did have free popcorn that I absolutely took advantage of! The breakfast wasn’t the greatest- but the view of the sunrise from the breakfast room was awesome. Would absolutely stay here again.

Enjoyed my stay here. Everyone was was very helpful and friendly. The two ladies that do the breakfast in the morning did an amazing job. Was just all around a good experience.
