Ocean Breeze Inn Vero Beach

There was some confusion because we booked for one night through Expedia, and then in the afternoon told them we wanted to stay one more night. When we checked back before retiring for the night, the front desk person said nothing had been done, no one mentioned it to her, etc. and because we had booked though Expedia, she had to reregister us ( long process) and gave us a different room that was handicapped accessible. A nuisance to have to change rooms, but we could stay at the hotel still. Original room on 2nd floor and nice open view, bright, airy ( city view) . Bathroom counter strangely very low, at my thighs, and I'm not tall. Bed comfortable. Great place! Conveniently located - next to restaurants and shops. Ocean front, Comfy beds, larger than average rooms, nice pool, restaurant on site but no noise around rooms area. Grounds are very well taken care of. We loved it here and would highly recommend

(We were there a year ago) The hotel is located on the ocean, surrounded by restaurants with good cuisine and shops. The friendly and professional reception staff quickly provided us with the most suitable room and offered early check-in. After a long journey, it was very welcome, and we were grateful. The room had snow-white bed linen and towels, beach towels and everything that tired travelers need. The hotel is budget-friendly, small, cozy but the price is clearly too high… • We arrived at the beach at 2 p.m., the beach employee did not allow us to use the umbrella and sunbed because he had to leave early. We still don't understand what this has to do with us. As a result, we took our own beach umbrella from the car…But the situation is unacceptable for the beach hotel.

We stayed here two nights. Hotel is walking distance to variety of restaurants and the beach. Rooms are functional. Everything works but the plumbing fixtures probably original from 1980’s. Bathroom sink counter is extremely low. Water pressure in shower is marginal at best. Water has horrible sulfur taste. Room lighting is poor in bedroom area. TV is dated and does not allow you to connect your streaming device so you are stuck watching cable TV. Window coverings don’t exactly cover the window allowing light from outside into room. This room could be so much better replacing plumbing fixtures, TV, and window coverings.
