Ocean Annie's Resorts - Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Lodging

I've stayed with this place before several times however had been staying at the sands at the end of the road most recently. And when I came in unfortunately this time to the one which was attached to Ocean Annie's restaurant seems a little bit more rundown. The staff with the exception of Chris, the gentleman who helped us with our luggage, the gentleman at the front desk and folks with breakfast were kind of blasé or not as engaging. The walls were pretty thin in our two bedroom condo and when we were sitting at the kitchen bar eating and talking the neighbors next door said we were too loud. And I could hear their conversations as well when I was in the bedroom. Additionally, there are many places that smelled like marijuana. I was out on the balcony enjoying the ocean drinking my coffe

The rooms are out dated and beds are not comfortable also the balcony are too close together! I want be coming back now the river Cafe has great food! Pools wasn't too bad just crowded!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this resort was truly disappointing. The owner’s attitude was completely unacceptable. He blocked my friend’s car in the parking lot and when she politely asked him to move, he responded with rude, degrading comments instead of helping. His tone and behavior were shockingly unprofessional and downright disrespectful. It’s a shame, because the location itself could be enjoyable, but the owner’s attitude completely ruined the experience. I would not recommend this resort to anyone who values being treated with basic respect and courtesy. There are plenty of other places where guests are actually welcomed and treated kindly.

Start off by saying the guys at the front were very nice opening doors and directing us to our room. The location was good having easy beach access but that’s where it stops with anything good Parking was a pain going in circles in the parking deck to just to have exit and start over again because there was no availability. Now to the room itself. AWFUL the room was filthy it has mold on the bed liner. The bathrooms had hair in the toilet that took 3 flushes for it to go down the drain. The sink in the bathroom also had hair in it. There is mold growing in the top of the shower. Dirt and grime behind the bathroom door where it hasn’t been clean in who knows how long. The service was wonderful. I had a problem with how clean my room was. The tub hasn’t been cleaned completely for a while. The smell of the room and hallways weren’t fresh at all. This indicates that not much cleaning is really going on. I was in another hotel just last week, and just walking toward the restroom in the lobby, was smelling very fresh. Some extra care is needed. In room 1115, the light between the beds doesn’t work.
