Oasis Palms Resort

This was pur first syay ate the Oasis and it was a great experience. The rooms were clean with a nice homey feeling. The apartment style fooms allows for a comfortable relaxing vacation. I really liked the kitchen. It has regular sized appliances, so we could actually make our meals and not feel like we were camping. The furniture was very comfortable. So much so i had issues getting my husband off the couch and away from thr TV. Teal in the officr was very friendly and helpful. It's just across the street from the beach and a short walk from John's pass. We had a great stay and would recommend it for those looking for a quiet comfortable vacation.

Disclaimer before I start with a review: I grew up visiting this motel every year for 12 or 13 years of my life with my mother, aunt uncle and cousins. Back then it was called the "Sea Spire" motel. Here I learned how to swim, play shuffleboard and became friends with the owners and their grandkids at that time, so this place holds a special place in my heart automatically. Fast forward 33 years. When we booked this motel, I didn't realize it was the same motel I had visited every year as a child. Talk about coincidence! After doing some research trying to find the old motel, it led us back to "Oasis Palms", and the shock of realization really kicked in for me as we compared old photos with what it looks like now! Positive: false advertisement when I got to the location was smell of cigarette Smoke was unbearable. My husband has severe COPD. We ended up leaving and I called my credit card and cancelling. I mentioned that it needed to be a place with no smoking. Negative: location, people hanging out in front smoking. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

The oasis is the best kept secret in treasure island - the staff is out of this world - Kass especially offered superior customer service and attention to the details that count. The rooms are spacious - unbelievably furnished with extremely large tv’s haha and kitchenettes and very stylish rooms - if you visit treasure island this is a must and I won’t stay anywhere else! Our room was great. Everything had been updated, very clean, and spacious. Although the bathroom was a little small, but very clean, and the towels were nice & soft. A/C units worked great. Bed was comfortable. Lots of closet space, mirrors, and plenty of lighting. Fully equipped kitchen, with full size oven & good size refrigerator with a freezer. Flooring, and rugs were also very clean. The building itself looks a little run down, but the unit itself was great! Quick easy check in. Parking right in front of our unit.
