Satellite Motel

Love this little motor lodge! Like going back in time with all the comforts of today. Entire property renovated. The staff and manager are very helpful and genuinely care about making your experience grand. Heated pool too! Short easy stroll to the beach and the free trolly will take you up and down the beach side.

I cannot recommend The Satellite Motel more! My 21 y/o daughter and I stayed in room 123 and absolutely loved it! We had possibly the only view of the ocean at the property, and loved the absolutely adorable balcony over the pool (equipped with actual astroturf). Matt and Maria are phenomenal hosts, and do everything in their power to make their guests’ experience wonderful. The beds are ridiculously comfortable, everything is very clean and we felt very safe. The kitchenette is perfect, and we loved having a full-size fridge. The only downside is that we couldn’t stay longer.

Staying in room 111 for 2 nights with my brother visiting from Europe. Have difficulties with the door keypad as #5 barely operates which needs to be fixed. The worst part is that the swimming pool is supposed to be heated but it's colder than the ocean in February. A huge disappointment for us. Other than that the place is nice and clean and I would recommend it.

This hotel is a perfect Hidden Gem for anybody coming to town. It's right across the street from the municipal Beach. The rooms are very cozy and quiet. The city was working on the sidewalks and even though my room was right beside where they were working I barely heard it. The owner and staff are very polite and friendly! They have darn near everything that you need for your stay. Our room did not have those small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, or lotion, but that's okay. It had EVERYTHING else! I will most certainly be coming back to this hotel the next time I'm in town. So if you're hunting the internet looking for a place to stay, trust me, this is where your search ends, because this is where you're going to go.
