Oasis Inn & Suites

For the price they charge, they deserve 5 stars. Room was basic, clean, quiet and everything worked like it should. Bed was comfortable. Wi-Fi was fast. Parking lot is well lit and fenced in. McDonalds next door opens at 05:00. If you're on a budget and all you need is a safe and quiet place to spend the night, this is it. The only glitch was the smoke detector that went off in the morning while I was in the shower. I could reach it but could not turn it off, so I removed it and took it to the office. But I have seen smoke detectors go off before without any apparent reason, so I won't hold it against them.

Where to start? It appeared that the homeless population stayed here and frequented the trash bin. A less than friendly check in clerk who was extremely difficult to understand. A large pile of filthy wet towels laying in the hallway getting to our room. The refrigerator had not been closed, so the freezer was frosted over. The towels were discolored and stained. The sheets had spots. There was something running down the wall under the sink area and near the toilet waste can. Crumbs in the microwave. Streaks on the mirror. Filthy molding. Crunchy and stained carpets. Two of the thinnest pillows we've ever seen in our lives. The table was scratched up and sticky. No shampoo. No coffee maker. No breakfast. Our Reno motels were full. If we'd had ANYWHERE else to go, we'd have left. We spraye

This is a simple, but clean and friendly stop to rest. It’s under new management and they have done a lot of work to keep it clean. My only little warning (not a complaint), is that they do use some type of incense or perfume in their rooms that caught me off guard just because I get headache easily with perfumes. There is no coffee maker, no extra amenities, but it’s a great place to lay your head if you just need a nap and a shower. The front desk lady is very kind, eager to assist, and loved all this is a clean and simple hotel

Good lord, these reviews are so unrealistic. This is a budget inn, not a suite on the strip! Sure the rooms are dated but the pet fee is only $10 and the front desk woman is warm, cordial, and friendly. I rate these motels based on very basic needs and they were all met and some. I think a fair gripe is the lack of pillows, 2 flat pillows per bed is a bit sketchy.

Clean, reasonable rates, good shower. Back building quiet.
