Oak Tree Inn

goods: motel is old, but room gives good, updated appearance upon entering. room is a good size. part of motel is near highway, but not noisy. near market, restaurants, shops. ||bads: no hangers. only 1 plastic cup (for 2 people). coin-op ice machine no-op for long time. no ice trays in fridge. no coffee maker. noisy heat/cool wall unit; no adjustable air direction fins. wifi password not given at ck-in. 1 of 2 beds soft/not comfortable. no extra t.p. roll - only 1/3 roll provided. no facial tissue.||not a $105/night room/experience!

We stayed at the Oak Tree Inn to escape Hurricane Dorian. We were more concerned with what was happening with our home and places of employment on the east coast of Florida to pay much attention to the hotel initially.|But after getting unpacked, and the two cats settled in (pet friendly hotel), we started to really notice the hotel itself. |It is an older, single story hotel with really large rooms. Parking is at your room door...very convenient.|The exterior was freshly painted, new metal roof, and extremely clean and well maintained. No mold/mildew anywhere (which is hard to do in Florida)...not even any spider webs!|The interior of our large room was just as well maintained and clean...fresh paint, nice carpet and furniture. This is one of those motels out of the 1950's but you can tell that they have maintained and updated it. No carpeted floors.....laminate that looks like hardwood. Room was reasonably clean but a little dark.....One of the light switches was broken which did not help. Room had a microwave, mini-fridge and TV.....the bed was good and that probably was the most important part of our one night stay.||||I made my reservation by phone and was quoted a price that included tax. However, I was charged that number PLUS taxes.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, shower was hot. A/C worked well. The BAD is the price 167.64 (with tax) for one night with no breakfast is not cool at all

Impeccably clean room. Very nice staff. Good price. Clean and comfy beds. The only downside was no bathtub but the shower was very large. Overall my husband and I are very impressed with this motel and would definitely stay again!
