Econo Lodge Sebring

This was my 3rd bad experience with Econo Lodge in Avon Park,FL. My friend didn't book on line, he went there Saturday afternoon and got a room. The first thing that was unusual to me, was no lights on the table and night stand between the beds, the over head lights worked, but none of the light's that plugged in? Tried calling front desk, no answer, so I had to go to Walmart and purchase light bulbs, cost $8 for bulb's that should of already been replaced by them, then I went to put stuff in the fridge only to find it was full of ice and not cold at all. He had to unplug it to defrost it, which of course lead to water behind it as well as in front of it! Wasn't able to put anything that needed refrigeration in it till 11 pm, checked in at 3 pm, there was no blow dryer in the room as well

Tv is trash Smells like shiz Room was 84 when I checked in No batteries in the Remote And no one seems to give a damn So I mean if it was 60$ you can expect this It wasn’t 60$ Save yourself the let down Unless you smell like this room Then I’m sure you will be happy with the accommodations

This hotel is in very poor condition: no regular housekeeping; rusted door hinges; rusty lighting fixtures with dirty, bent shades; rusted shower curtain rod that rained red sediment on me when moving the curtain: funny odors; cockroaches and other insects; very limited breakfast food and beverage choices. I can’t believe that Choice Hotels would have such a hotel on its site representing your brand. The photos and descriptions do not match the reality. I no longer trust Choice Hotels and will have to re-assess using your app.

I was traveling with my 28lb dog. Because of the pet I called the property direct to make my reservation. I quoted the price I found in multiple online sites and acknowledged that there was an extra pet fee. When told the price, which was about $30 higher than the online prices, i confirmed that it included my pet and was told yes.||When checking in, The front desk agent told me that the fee was just for the room and the pet fee was additional. She called the manager and they held firm on the higher rate than what was quoted on the phone.||The room was clean but had maintenance issues. the towel rack was hanging from the wall looking like it was about to fall. I called the front desk and was told that they knew about it. The lamp on the dresser was broken and inoperative. Right out

DO NOT STAY HERE EVER!!!! They negated a reservation i had already made and made my husband pay for a new one FOR THE SAME DAY then negated refund for even the cheaper reservation. Which they know it was made online on priceline. Then finagled my husband to sign as if we would ever return to spend nother night there...never again. Wish he had taken video or even pictures of the nastiness here. Worse experience ever...even for an econolodge. Last time they get me. Ill be speaking to all my family and will be texting to members of the many churches that my friends and family attend. U have lost thousands of people that could be potential customers.
