North Star Lake Resort

I have been staying at North Star Lake Resort for nearly all of my 30 years on this planet. What Mike and Rachel have done as of recently has been nothing but beneficial to the camp, guests, and community. The service is excellent, the updates are magnificent, and the memories are more than alive. How grateful am I that NSLR has landed in capable, caring hands. Keep up the good work!!

Like many folks in the summer of 2020 we were looking for a last minute remote spot where we could socially distance but still have lots of amenities. North Star Lake Resort was amazing! The cabin was super clean. Rustic, but well stocked. Fabulous view of the lake. The kids loved the beach, especially the water trampolines. We all used the kayaks and paddle boats every day. We also enjoyed the pool, bikes, yard games and crafts in the lodge.

After not coming here for 35 years we all came to celebrate my dad turning 70 this year. We are all older and now our kids get to enjoy the resort just as we did in the past. We were able to rent a Pontoon for the week which was really fun. Kids loved the inflatable toys and the kayaks were a big hit as well. The food at the Chow Hall was excellent and it was overall a very relaxing vacation. We all plan to be back.

Stopped for lunch 6/7 while fishing all day. The waitress was friendly, timely and never let our glasses go empty. Also stayed here as part of a large wedding group 2024. All the staff are excellent and accommodating. There was no parking for my boat trailer. Staff personnel parked it for me out of the way and retrieved it for me when it was time to leave. Couldn't ask for a better experience both times. Fishing was amazing!

The new owners are fantastic! Very professional, yet super friendly. They have made some really nice improvements in just a short time, and after spending 2 weeks, we rebooked for next year before we left. If we had any minor questions or needed anything, they responded right away and took care of it. We love fishing and the boat ramp, fish cleaning house and docks were all in good shape. Fishing was excellent, as always, for Muskie and Crappie. The pool was super clean, as was the beach. Great service and food at the bar and restaurant. Hand dipped ice cream in many flavors is a problem, because we ate too much! :) We can't wait for next year!
