Beautiful campgrounds! Very well maintained and monitored. Very tidy. The sites are a little short for RVs and quite unlevel the site that we were in (#4). We are 30ft long. The peacefulness and scenery make up for it. Shower houses were very well kept & newer; firewood available also. Short walk to the reservoir. Site 15 would be best for an RV. Long and pull thru. Or site 34 (back in). Very scenic area. Beautiful campgrounds!! Note: the whole week that we were here neither myself or my partner could figure out how to actually get hot water to CONSISTENTLY come out of these showers heads. The dial determines whether it’s the high or the low head. And the buttons underneath that you would think determine temp - that one would be hot and one would be cold - nope. Tried many man
We had plans to camp at Upper Pahranagat Lake for Easter weekend, but they were full by 2:30pm. We then decided to try Kershaw-Ryan State Park, one hour away from our first choice. We arrived at Kershaw-Ryan and weren't happy about how small and close the campsites are to each other. We were looking for a spacious area. Our next choice was Cathedral Gorge Campground, but we learned they too were full when phoned. Next option, Echo Canyon State Park, which is 43 mins away from Kershaw-Ryan. Our hour and half trip turned into a well worth it three hour journey. Echo Canyon is exactly what we initially wanted for a campground. Beautiful scenery, spacious, remote, plenty of availability, water stations at each campsite, trails, lots of geodes for kids to find, a fishing lake, an unexpected min
This campground is really nice, I've been here since April 9th and it was great, the only thing is that It was cold outside, and when I've sleep, I feel cold and I couldn't go to the bathroom, And this is the best place to camp, and I like the Park Ranger guy, he is so nice and great.
Very nice campground
Very well maintained Older quieter crowd. Spring Valley better for kids
