Really great off season stay. Prices make it way out of sensible for in season though, plus the crowds in Ogunquit in warm weather are insane. Still- extremely pleased I reserved. I've been coming to Ogunquit for 40 years in every season and this was my first stay on the beach with Norseman. Amazing views and perfect location.

Had a nice weekend at The Norseman. As the only hotel on the beach, you can’t beat the location. The trolley service will pick you up right outside for $5, but downtown bars/restaurants/shopping is a short 5-10 minute walk. Also nice to have parking included, though depending on which room you’re in, you may have to park in the large lot for the beach - when it’s the off season, not really an issue, but if it’s busy, you may end up pretty far from the front door. We stayed in room 326 (two king beds on the 3rd floor - no elevator, just stairs, fyi), and it turns out the room is haunted! Drawers opening, trash bins being moved in the night, and a swivel chair by the door moving on its own. Whoever the ghost is, they like to sit in that chair and watch the view 😂 Beds were very comfy,

This hotel is perfect location. Everything you need is within walking distance, the town center, the beach, entertainment, and quiet. Every staff member we met was friendly and happy. Our room was spotless and even had a TV in the shower!|Any guest could use bikes, kayaks, that was available right there.|The beach was right there and that alone makes this place a great value.|An atmosphere for all ages. We came back feeling refreshed and ready for reality!

This large, but quaint resort has it all--mostly the true feel of coastal Maine! This property has the classic New England seaside ambiance. Our family had two rooms in the Dunes building for our three-night stay, so we had views of both the ocean and the tidal river and dunes. The rooms were spotless and had more amenities and great features than the high-rise Hiltons and Marriotts we stayed in at other locations. For the family member with slight mobility issues, there was an elevator to get to the 2nd floor room. Also several grab bars in the roomy shower. Bathroom had a large vanity and plenty of storage area underneath. Adequate number of towel bars and hooks. There was even a TV in the mirror in the bathroom. Nice closet, table and chairs in room, lovely balcony with lounge
