Nisswa Motel

We stayed last weekend and have recommended this motel to so many people since then. The rooms are clean, the staff and management are friendly, and it’s in a perfect location for walking around town. We loved it and we’re excited to return!

Avoid this place. I thought the hotel had been remodeled, but that was clearly not the case. The shower head was rusty and leaked rust into the tub, so I didn’t even shower. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling everywhere. The beds were very uncomfortable, and being right next to the freeway made it noisy all night. To make things worse, the owner/manager complained that we paid “too little” because we booked three months in advance. This is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

This motel was a great quick cost effective place to stay while I was in town with my wife for the weekend for a friend's wedding. Clean, comfortable, no frills and thrills but just the right thing when you don't want to break the bank. Do stay if youre not hoity toity.

Cute, clean and walkable!|We had a great weekend in Nisswa. The motel is in the main area so we just parked the car in the parking lot and were able to walk to all the shops and restaurants. |Check in and out were simple and organized. Room was decorated really cute with a small refrigerator and little kitchen area.|We will definitely be back!

Very friendly staff. Location is spectacular, genuinely couldn’t have picked a better spot for an exploration of downtown Nisswa. We stayed in Room 21 - Single King. The door auto locks on closure and there is both a deadlock and a chain door lock for triple security. There’s a remote for the AC unit which was convenient and an oscillating fan handy. There was a microwave available and a small freezer and fridge empty for your use. The TV has many cable channels. Outlets in convenient locations.
