Nichols Inn

Pretty basic but very clean hotel! Our room was spotless when we arrived. Breakfast was fine, no fresh fruit but I liked the option of a omelette maker. Great for a one night stay!

Better than average motel. Decent breakfast options allow for making your own waffle or omelet. Very moderately priced. Fairly soft bed. Quiet (could not hear any neighbors). Staff were friendly. Location was not very close to any tourist sites.

Positive: very clean and the staff was nice. Negative: The TV was really small for a hotel room. The "breakfast" could have been A LOT better with more items. I was very disappointed with the breakfast selection and chose to goelsewhere for breakfast.

2nd time coming here. Ive stayed for concerts at the casino and it's a quiet place away from the busy casino but close enough to drive (15 min). I will stay here again if I attend another concert

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE---- PLEASE READ! I only did 5 stars so you guys can see this easier. I went there last year and had to take a shower and there were dirty clothes from the last person in the bathroom and they smelled awful, so I'm not even sure my room was cleaned properly, and that disturbs me and should disturb you all, and I was in the most expensive room they have on the top floor. I have just tried to make a reservation for my fiance here because our house is being gassed for bugs and they won't give us a room because we live in town. That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. YOU GUYS ARE IN RED WING AND REFUSE TO SERVE RED WING CUSTOMERS.
