Super close to town. For the most part it’s pretty quiet. Housekeeping stays on top of cleaning. No bugs. Great prices for nightly and weekly rates! It’s like a little apartment! And the best showers!

We needed a place to stay on the way down to visit family, and I found this place while looking for older motels. It looked okay from the street view, so I figured we'd give it a shot. I must admit that I was nervous. US 301 is a good place to find the ruins of roadside America, but not the best choice for decent lodging. The motel is about a mile south of the small town of Weldon, and we were a bit apprehensive when I pulled in, but the owner was happy to show me a room. The rate for a king room for 2 people was $50, and the owner also gave me a huge bag of ice when I came back to the office with the ice bucket. Stayed here for a week and it was very enjoyable very nice and very friendly it's an older hotel but the rooms are large and it was extremely clean can't wait to go back

A good place to go if you want to be in a place that's in the country that's not in the middle of town it's quiet not a whole lot of riff Raff overall a good place to stay rooms are very reasonable rates anywhere from 50 to $55 a night to up to $250 a week they just remodeled so some of the rooms are actually a lot better than the others would recommend to anybody that doesn't want to be inside the city
