New Orleans Hotel

The bartender at the Voodoo lounge (Jess, I think) was amazing! The atmosphere was great and she made the best sazerac. If you want a real cocktail with excellent service, she's definitely your girl! The whole building was beautiful and very clean, but be warned there is a definite night life going on in the Quarter on the lower level and we could hear the partying two floors up though all hours of the night. Even if you don't stay in the hotel, the Voodoo Lounge is absolutely worth a visit! Overall, and enjoyable and unique place to stay

What a great find! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The lobby, hallways and rooms were very clean and furnished to reflect the era. The shared balcony was a true pleasure. |The only downside is that there is no elevator. However, the staff assisted us with our luggage.

Positive: Right in the heart of downtown so can walk to most things. Parking is free and they will valet it for free. Cool theme as well. Negative: Drainage on the sink/shower is slow. Parking is limited so they have to double park on weekends and people are supposed to leave keys with front desk but someone didn?t and we had to wait but not long. Neither were a big deal

We LOVE this hotel!! The atmosphere itself is fantastic, the rooms are spacious, clean and inviting. Great location as well. The linens and towels, bed and pillows all top tier. What I think we loved most was the staff. Sue and Chris are personable, easy to talk to and made an already great stay that much MORE!!! Book this place for your next stay - we will definitely be back!!!

Booked two nights, Christmas night and the night after. Arrived at noon and carried bags up to the second floor into the two rooms we had. The hotel was not full by no means. Rooms looked ok. We left for some sightseeing and when we got back a couple hours later we saw what appeared to be rat droppings on one of the beds. This hotel is super old so the thought of a rat being around is not something that would be impossible. I immediately changed my mind on staying at the hotel so we packed everything back down those stairs. We showed the manger pictures of the poop and told her we were checking out. She said she would notify the exterminator. She said that she could put us in another room but i declined. Don’t really want to stay in a different room that could have a mouse or rat
