My Place Hotel-Tucson North/Marana/Cortaro, AZ

For a long term stay place, this was perfect for our week long stay in Tucson. The rooms were clean and the staff universally great. They have a BBQ area in the edge of the parking lot. Rooms had a full sized refrigerator, cook top, and microwave. The large recliner and nice desk setup were appreciated.

Best Value in the Tucson area. What do you get for a very reasonable nightly rate - Large Room with a Kitchen, Outside Grilling Area, Excellent Service (Lexi is outstanding) and if you are a Dog Owner several places to walk your dog adjacent to the Hotel.

I would not recommend interacting with this hotel if you can help it. My husband booked the hotel room for 2 nights for my son’s soccer tournament. Unfortunately, my son broke his arm the night before the tournament and couldn’t attend. My husband called 20 hrs prior to check in (from the ER) to try to cancel but was told they would only cancel one night. The other night would not be refunded because it was less than 24 hrs. I called to talk to Alfred who weirdly answered the phone himself, placed me on hold, then told me “the manager” (who was actually him?? So odd??) would call me back. An hour later, he finally called. He was immediately irritated and defensive before I even told him what was going on. Maybe he knew about us trying to cancel the night before? ★☆☆☆☆ Terrible Experience at My Place Hotel Tucson North We were very disappointed with our stay. When we booked, we were surprised to find out they charged all three nights in advance — something that wasn’t made clear upfront. I tried calling several times and even left messages for Alfred, the manager, but never received a response. The room itself was poorly maintained. It hadn’t been cleaned, and we were told that cleaning only happens every four days — which is unacceptable for a hotel stay. To make things worse, there were roaches in both the bathroom and the kitchen area. For a new hotel, this is completely unacceptable. Between the lack of cleanliness, poor management communication, and pest issues, we will definitely not be staying here again.

This was our families first time visiting Marana and staying at a My Place hotel. I can 100% confirm this is a GEM of a hotel for anyone passing through or staying for an extended amount of time.|- Full Kitchen (included with LARGE refrigerator) |- Spacious double-bed rooms|- Clean Bathrooms ( Fresh towels upon request)|- Great location to restaurants, Shopping and my favorite Dutch Bros coffee.||It may not have a pool, but it checks ALL the boxes for a comfortable and great stay.|** Oh and the staff was friendly and attentive as well. |** If you’re traveling with a family or just want to save $$$, MyPlace earned my vote!
