My Place Hotel-Rock Springs, WY

From check-in to check-out, I found the staff to be friendly and professional. I felt welcomed and valued. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were given a room on the first floor near the outside exit, which was perfect for my service dog. There was adequate green space for him to potty, and great sidewalks at the main street for walking. There were a variety of eating places nearby, within easy driving distance. Water pressure was great with ample hot water. The room was very quiet and we had a great night's sleep. The only problem was the TV reception, but I can't blame the hotel for this...I think it was a problem with the cable company. I simply used my laptop to watch a few programs. WiFi worked great. My husband was working away from home and was staying in Rock Springs Wyoming for an extended period of time. We stayed at my place hotel. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and housekeeping and maintenance man did a great job of keeping the place clean and presentable. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that my husband and I were comfortable and had everything we needed. We were there for quite a while and we’re not just treated as guests. We were treated like family. This is a great safe place to stay if you are traveling through this area. There is a little convenience shop inside the lobby where you can purchase things if you need them. Very nice hotel overall, I was expecting to be able to get breakfast, but they only have a delivery service which cost a fee that they don’t tell you on the placard in the room. The TV was a bit small. Also the telephone did not work. But the staff was very friendly. It would also be nice if there was a pool through that protected you from the elements as you unloaded your vehicle, as most hotels have. But I would stay here again.

This hotel has large rooms with a kitchen and full size refrigerator in the room. Clean, very quiet, and half the price of a Candlewood or Homewood suites. They had no problem with government rates and taking taxes off for government employees. This is a top notch stay. The Holiday Inn down the street was horrible. Their front desk and billing was a complete disaster at the Holiday Inn. My Place has become a new favorite.

Overall a good room for the price we paid!! Everything was clean and the front desk staff was very friendly both checking in and checking out. They were doing work on the parking lot which forced us park in the rocky part, but that’s not totally their fault! It made do for the night 😊
