My Place Hotel-Rapid City, SD

Clean and cozy room with a TV, full bathroom with good water pressure, little kitchenette with a full-sized refrigerator, two person table, garbage disposal, coffee maker, toaster, and sofa chair. The dresser the TV was on had drawers that kept opening for no apparent reason. The older short blonde lady took a little bit to find our reservation, but she was very friendly and helpful. It was super great to be able to stay here with my cats!

Positive: Close to freeway and gas services nearby. Negative: The charge for fast food breakfast is ridiculous. Full kitchen but nothing to cook or eat with - what is the point?

We stayed one night while visiting Badlands. The person checking us in was very nice and they had coffee, tea all day (that may my husband happy!) The My Place was convenient to restaurants. My Place did not include breakfast. The room and bathroom were clean with no problems. The Texas Road house had an hr wait for dinner, we drove to Long Horn and only waited 30 min (food was good).

It was good and bad. When I made my reservation I thought I was talking with someone at this motel. Turns out the number was to a booking place. They made us feel like royalty! Every request was guaranteed! Imagine our surprise when we asked for a room on the 1 st floor and got put on the third! Asked for a handicap room and got a bathroom with a tub! My husband can not step into a tub so he didn’t bath for 3 days! The manager was rude and verbally abusing abusive! Kept saying we went through a third party! If it wouldn’t have been for a very nice front desk clerk, we may have let the manager have her way and gotten rid of us! Every employee was kind, friendly, and very professional except the manager! Will we stay again? Probably not! Our room was very nice! Not worth all th

Stayed the night here with our pets. The rooms were great. Comfortable beds, nice little kitchen including a stove and sink with garbage disposal, fridge with ice maker in freezer so no need to leave the room. The person who checked us in was also very nice.
